BRIDGING   THE LEADERSHIP GAP: ENERGIZING WOMEN TOWARD NEW LEADERSHIP HEIGHTS

Leadership   Development & High-Performance Culture:

The   American Association of Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) has been   supporting the upward mobility of female leadership in community colleges   since 1980. There are a significant number of executive leadership positions   open in community colleges. Current female community college presidents and   AAWCC leaders offer participants opportunities to develop successful career pathways   to executive leadership roles. This highly interactive session allows   participants to pose critical questions to experienced female leaders about   issues related to career preparation and job search, leadership development, communication   strategies, political acumen, diversity and work/life balance needed to   navigate the path to leadership positions.

The American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC) has been   supporting the upward mobility of female leadership in community colleges   since 1980. There is, and will continue to be, a significant number of   executive leadership positions open in community colleges. This highly   interactive session allows participants to pose critical questions on issues related   to career preparation, leadership development, diversity, work and life balance, preparing a resume and institutional politics needed to navigate the   path to leadership positions in community colleges. Resource facilitators for   this session will be members of AAWCC.
